Montford Library recently held a two day holiday programme for children from the community.

On the first day of the programme, the children played games using balloons; and on the second day the children engaged in a beadwork programme.

The children were taught how to make hand chains and key rings using beads by the developmental team of Child Welfare Chatsworth.

These activities assist children with eye hand co-ordination, and it allowed them to understand the concept of teamwork.
