Chatsworth Centre and the community has certainly witnessed the most spectacular and diverse talent by all 20 contestants this past Saturday 14th October 2017. The level of talent that has been displayed has certainly exceeded expectations and we would like to congratulate all contestants who showcased their talent during the four week campaign.

The Chatsworth Centre being a community centre, the management team believed that Chatsworth Centre would be the ideal platform to support and grow local talent and also firmly believe in the upliftment, development and future sustainability of the Chatsworth community and that is when Chatsworth’s Got Talent was born eight years ago!

The winner in the dance category is Tyron Chetty and has won R12 000 in cash and a tablet sponsored by Careers 2000. The winner in the music/vocal category is Eagan Morgan and has won R 12 000 in cash and a tablet sponsored by Careers 2000.

Both winners in each category will get an artist management contract for the duration of one-year worth
R 25 000 each, courtesy of Big M Productions. Runner up in the dance category is Rylee Liam Naicker and has won R4 500 in cash and runner up in the music/vocal category Thishen Krishna, also won R4 500 in cash. Rylee Liam Naicker received a R500 CNA gift card which was generously sponsored by Sound and lighting technologies. Star Academy South Africa will be giving away R5 000 in bursaries to the top 10 finalists to continue and grow their talent.

The top 10 contestants will each get one semester free at Star Academy South Africa (T’s & C’s apply).
Careers 2000 had a lucky draw that run on the four Saturdays of Chatsworth Got Talent. The winner of the Tablet was announced on the Grand finale. Lucky winner of the Tablet was Chantal Munisami.Chatsworth Centre also offered a gift card up for grabs to the community’s favorite contestant in the competition!

All the community needed to do, was vote for their favorite contestants video by Liking the contestant video on the Chatsworth Centre’s face book page. The contestant with the most Likes will be announced on Thursday 19th October 2017.The grand finale concluded with a superb performance by the popular Rajiv Mothie of Big M Productions.Chatsworth Centre would like to thank the Chatsworth Tabloid for their coverage of the event, all suppliers, on line support (Luvalan Pillay) tenants from Chatsworth Centre who have generously sponsored toward the event Beauty Kingdom, KFC, Milky lane, Sanctuary of essence and Chatsworth Centre Optician not forgetting all contestants that have been a part of this exciting venture and the community who have come out and supported our local talent.
