Body found floating in Sezela pool

    What started off as a visit to the Sezela Country Club ended in the discovery of a body floating in the pool.

    Captain Adam Francis, communications officer at Scottburgh SAPS, confirmed the incident and said that paramedics declared the male dead on the scene. He said: “A-63-year old male was found dead in the swimming pool at Sezela Country Club on Sunday, 8 November at 1.45 pm. A visitor who had arrived at the pool with his family at the club found the man floating in the pool and proceeded to alert SAPS Scottburgh. Paramedics certified the male dead on the scene.”

    An autopsy will be conducted at Park Rynie, Medico Legal Mortuary and an inquest is being investigated by Detective Warrant Officer Salomie Pillay of Scottburgh Detective Service.
